In October 2015, Godspeed You! Black Emperor invited Dead Rat Orchestra to open for them on the six-date UK leg of their European tour. DRO performed as a duo of Robin Alderton and Nathaniel Mann, joined by Thierry Amar on double bass on the last night of the tour, for a rabble-rousing version of The Black Procession.
Captured on that final night at the Brighton Dome, this is a pro-quality* desk recording, mastered by Eric James at Philosophers Barn. The CDs are packaged in imported Arigato Paks, with a custom letterpress print by Typoretum.
*Except for a few seconds of distortion when they overload the stage mics, during an over-exuberant hocketing rendition of their infamous South Carolina swamp holler.
